About Me

I've loved reading (or being read to) for longer than I can remember. My mom says that even
 when she was pregnant with me, if I was moving around and she couldn't sleep, she could read a book out loud and I would settle down.

If there's one thing I love about reading more than the reading itself, it's talking about books. I love to talk about the books I've read/am reading, the books I want to read, the books people are writing, fanfic, authors in general, etc. I love talking with other readers and with authors. This blog was born of that love. We'll have reviews, author Q&As, the occasional giveaway, memes, and all sorts of other fun stuff.

I was inspired to add the twist of pairing each book review with a drink by a friend who also loves to read, but usually has a glass of wine at hand while she does it. The drinks I pair with the books may be alcoholic or not. It could be anything from a glass of wine to a cup of water.
